I was sure I would be super emotional on the kids' last day of school. After all, Caitlyn had been at the daycare for almost 4 years (minus summers), and I had dropped both of my precious children off there at the fragile age of six weeks old. Even though the daycare kept switching the assistant teachers in both of my children's rooms, I felt very close to especially the lead teachers who had been with them the entire year. Of course things never go according to plan; I received a call from Elijah's teacher that he had a fever and needed to be picked up. I brought Elijah back to school with me where my coworker graciously led him in naptime. Since I had to go to the doctor, my much less emotional husband did the final pickup that afternoon.

He follows instructions very well. I see a bright future ahead :)
